Grow Up Awesome

I started Grow Up Awesome about 8 years ago while working full-time for the sun care company Sun Bum. Since then it has grown into a pretty healthy side project. I hand print minimal depictions of nature and other random things inspired by my wife and kids. The design process often starts through sketching or hand cutting paper stencils to experiment with new ideas. I started this because I wanted a creative outlet outside of work and wanted to make stuff for my family to wear. I wanted to know where it came from, and wanted to make something that had less of a negative impact on the world. It's my mini-revolt against mass produced clothing.
